Last week we had the pleasure of hosting are friend Isa at the shop. Isa has a residency every 1st Saturday of the month at Casa Del Popolo and always has the best flyer’s for her nights. We couldn’t not ask her to leave her mark on our board. As always, we had a chance to ask her a few quick questions.

What are you?

I’m studying graphic design, pretty much the only thing I have time to do lately. I also play old school metal in bars sometimes.

Favorite artist or inspirational figure?

Since I have the aesthetic of an angry teenager who draws on a school desks, I have a lot of admiration for artist who have a very methodological way of creating. People who have this thing inside them call ” patience” and minuteness”, Justin Barlett, Jason Cantoro and Alice Jarry blow my mind on that point. The list of my favorite artist can be eternal, so I’ll go with local people with which I love their work and their personality : Isabelle Guimond, Bobo Boutin, Karmen Mantha, Jen Storey, Audrey Cantwell ( ovate/clothing), Zema and Mathilde Corbeil.

All jean or all leather?

Come on this is way too hard as a question!! Half half is the best, bottom leather and top jean or bottom jean and top leather.

Last thing you’ve read?

Right now I’m reading ‘Lettering and Type’ by Bruce Willen and Nolen Strals, exciting eh hahaha.
